It’s a perfect place for a group of golfing friends, a family reunion, an intimate wedding or a small retreat. The only lodging right at Bandon Crossings, the golf course is literally in the backyard. The driving range is just steps from the door of the big farm kitchen, where you and your friends’ day can start with breakfast and a bag of range balls.
A bag of range balls are complimentary with specially priced golf when you stay at A Home on the Range. You can also add Unlimited range balls only $75 for the entire group during your stay.
Group Golf Lesson only $100 for your entire group
After a fun day on the course, you can sit back to watch golf or a game or movie on TV, or whatever you recorded on the DVR. You can also play cards, take advantage of kitchen to whip up dinner, drive the short distance to the town of Bandon to sample one of the many fine restaurants there, or even call for home delivery.
Plenty of Amenities
This very spacious house has 6 bedrooms and 3 ½ guest baths to share. There are 10 beds for your use (2 kings, 4 queens, 4 twins, and a full hide a bed in the living room). Sleeps up to 18 people. Satellite television with DVR and Wi-fi are available. In addition to the oversized kitchen, there are 4 other public areas for gathering, large enough to accommodate a big group for a reception or party after a tournament. Caterers love serving from the spacious kitchen and several are available for your use. The house is pefect for a family reunion, small retreat, or just a gathering of good friends.
A special golfing package, "All You can Play in a Day" is available (see the Rates page) and every attempt will be made to accommodate your group’s needs and desires.
We also work closely with Bandon Crossings Golf Course to arrange for special events, tournament, outings, etc.
If your group is too large for just this home, we combine it with our other fine oceanview lodgings.
A House That Comes with History
The old ranch house, built in 1929 with multiple additions over the years, sits on the corner of the 340 acre ranch that has become Bandon Crossings Golf Course. When Rex and Carla Smith purchased the ranch with the plan to build Bandon Crossings Golf Course, the house was a “bonus." In need of some updating, it served for the first two years as construction headquarters, with an office for superintendent, Brant Hathorn, and a bedroom for Dan Hixson, designer. Eventually as the greens crew was hired, the kitchen became their break room, and several of them lived there off and on during construction. Once the maintenance building was completed, they moved out and the plans to convert it into a guest house moved forward.
