Lovely spacious two story Town Home  in a quiet Inner Southeast neighborhood

Heating and Cooling:
In addition to the gas fireplace in the living room, the house has central ducted heating. To keep you cool in the summertime, two bedrooms have ductless air conditioning units, and there is a stand alone air conditioning unit in the dining/kitchen area that ducts outside.Â
Location:
Our townhome is in the Brooklyn neighborhood, with neighborhood shops and eateries. Food carts are nearby, as well as the Aladdin Theater, a Portland landmark, and the Brooklyn park with kids play structures. A short drive or bus ride will take you to the Sellwood/Westmoreland, or Clinton/Division neighborhoods with their own great eateries and shopping.Â
It's only a short 10-12 minute drive to the Oregon Convention Center, or downtown Portland, Portland State University, or OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University), or OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). Another few minutes takes you to the Oregon Zoo.Â
Transportation:
- While a car is optional, you may park in the driveway.
- For travel Downtown you can drive, or it is easy to take public transit and avoid parking hassles.Â
-There is a bus stop about 2 1/2 blocks away on Milwaukie Avenue and the MAX train station is about a 5-7 minute walk.
We will probably not be in town when you rent the entire house, but will be available via phone and email while you are there. Someone lives part-time in a basement apartment, so you may hear the garage door open and close. Â
Please note that this is a quiet neighborhood, and parties or events are not allowed. Quiet time is 9 pm to 8 am.Â

"All accessory short-term rental permit holders must provide transactional data of guest stays upon City request. Cora Street Retreat is located at 1120 SE Cora Street, Portland, OR 97202. The online maps work well for navigation. Parking is available on the street or in the driveway. (The garage is restricted to the owner's use)
Check in time is 4 pm. There is a lock box on the iron security gate by the front door. The combination will be provided 2 days before your visit.

Portland treasure
Our family of 5 had a terrific time! We were moving our daughter out of Lewis and Clark and the location was great. We loved the elegant decor and it had everything we needed. We will return!

Great stay
Had a wonderful stay- beds were comfortable, master bath was luxurious, kitchen well appointed. Loved the fireplace on chilly nights, and the patio on sunny days. Convenient location. Would definitely stay again.
Recommend this place for family travelers
Recommend this place for family travelers. Friend groups under 35 should consider this place only if you can abide by the noise rules, as there are neighbors both beside and below this unit. The unit is well-kept, pictures are accurate. The towels provided were not at all smelly. Shower pressure is good, stronger than my Speakman shower head at home. The dishwasher and laundry machines are a big plus. I will recommend this place to my family members, this is a very convenient and comfortable abode near downtown Portland.
The house was great and had everything we needed.
The house is very clean, beds are very comfortable, plenty of towels. Kitchen is well equipped. Heat and hot water were good. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was perfect for us
We had a lovely stay at Carla's house. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was warm and soft. It was conveniently located for us. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, pots, etc. as well as a coffee maker and kettle. We had a couple of family meals in the kitchen which was lovely. Thank you, Carla!
Comfortable home
This house comfortably fit five travelers and is well located near Portland in a very cute neighborhood. We had a rental car and we found most travel to sites in Portland less than 15 minutes away. Additionally, we never had a problem with parking our car in front of the Airbnb. All in all, this was a high quality stay for a reasonable rate.
Everything just as advertised
The house is just as advertised. No surprises (which is a good thing). We had a rental car, which we found very useful. There is a bus line less than 2 blocks away, but it was nice to have ready access to transportation. Although we were supposed to be able to park in the driveway, another car was there the whole weekend. That was a complete non-issue, however, as the neighborhood is very quiet and not at all busy. We were able to park directly in front of the house every time we came back. There is a good Mexican restaurant about 2 blocks away, but as luck would have it, the restaurant owners were on vacation when we were in town. (Again, having a rental car was good.). Inside the house was exactly as advertised. Comfortable house, well equipped kitchen. The backyard was wonderful on nice days. We were in town for a graduation at Reed College (under 2 miles away) and the backyard was great for sitting around with our grandson (the graduate) and some of his friends.
Excellent Location
excellent location on this Airbnb. Very comfortable space with a nice living room and fire place. The tub was super relaxing and the location was perfect for our stay in Portland. See ya next year!
Great House
This is the type of stay my family and I are always hoping for! Super clean and spacious house with plenty of amenities including a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, and multiple rooms/beds for my family of four plus my parents. The location of Carla's house is amazing as well! So many various shops and places to eat within minutes.

We love our vacation homes in Bandon, with it's amazing beach and golf courses. And we now have a beautiful town home in Portland, near downtown in the wonderful Brooklyn neighborhood.
